We have a new Basic Obedience Class starting Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 10am!
This class will run 8 consecutive Saturday’s, beginning October 16, 2010 and will finish up with the CGC (Canine Good Citizen) test on December 4, 2010.

Additional training services that are available have been added to the Training Academy page. I’ve listed the additional services below, as copied from the Training Academy page.
The price of housebreaking (potty training) your puppy or dog depends on age. Puppies 8 weeks up to 16 weeks (at Karen’s discretion) are $200; puppies over 16wks and adult dogs are $400.
Housebreaking includes crate training and is limited by availability, and your dog must be compatible with men, women, children and other dogs/animals.
You can send your dog to stay with Karen at Elite K9 to be Obedience trained. Price listed is for Basic Obedience Training, and cost will vary depending on the dogs age and behavioral issues.
In order for your dog to stay in Karen’s home, it must be house-broken and social with men, women, children, and other dogs/animals. There is an additional charge if your dog is not already house-broken.
Canine evaluations are available! Whether you’re wondering if your dog is truly aggressive or fear-motivated, or you’re just having problems with training and/or other unwanted behaviors, Karen will evaluate your dog and give you her advice as a professional trainer.
Cost for an evaluation is $50.

This class will run from 6:30pm-7:30pm every Wednesday evening from September 1 (owners only) to October 20, 2010 (CGC Test).
You & your dog will learn:
• Heel
• Sit
• Down
• Stay (Sit/Stay, Down/Stay)
• Here
• Social skills in a class atmosphere
• Focusing skills with distractions
• The finish: dog will go from in front of you, walk around the back to your side where s/he will be ready for the heel command.

This class will run every Thursday from 6:30-7:30 pm, July 22, 2010 (first session, owners only) through September 9, 2010 (last session, CGC testing).
