Elite K9 Training Academy Classes
Our focus is on you, the handler, learning correct handling skills. There’s no better way to train a dog than to teach the owner! These skills can then be taken home and taught to the rest of the family, as well as being used to train your other dogs.
Sessions are currently held on Saturdays and Wednesdays, with new classes opening continually.

Puppy Class – Group Sessions – 8 weeks: $120.00
Learning to get your puppy to do what you want while using positive reinforcement to get results. Puppies are 5 months and younger. You will be using a flat collar on your puppy and not a choke!

Basic Obedience – Group Sessions – 8 weeks: $120.00
If your dog is ready for CGC testing at the completion of training, testing will be included free of charge.

- The finish: dog will go from in front of you, walk around the back to your side where s/he will be ready for the heel command.
Advanced Obedience – Group Sessions – 8 weeks: $120.00
Transition from on lead to off lead in sit, down, stay, here, and finish commands.
Conformation – Group Sessions – 8 weeks: $120.00
Learn your way around the show ring. (If there is time, proper grooming for your breed)
- Stand for examination
- Proper gait in the ring
- Learn patterns such as Diagonal, L, and Triangle
- Moving with the group
- Proper spacing
- Proper show lead and how to hold it
Private Sessions: Each 1 Hour Session: $50.00
According to you and your dogs’ pace, Basic, Advanced, Confirmation, etc. One hour, perfecting each command before moving on to the next one.
Basic Rules/Conditions
The first class is for Handlers Only. Do not bring your dog!
We spend the first day of class learning about your dog and going over the basics of pack leadership and nutrition, as well as answering any questions you may have.
“Aggressive” Dogs
You may set up a private lesson with Karen for evaluation to distinguish between true aggression and fear. If your dog is only fearful, you may continue private lessons to build his/her confidence until your dog is ready for group classes.
Payment in full before classes begin
To guarantee your place in class you must pay in advance. When payment is received, we will call to let you know your place in the class is reserved.
When you send payment, please include your name, address, phone number, and the time slot you are requesting.
Children
We do love children, but do not allow children in Group sessions. If you must bring your child/children, please schedule Private Lessons. Children are very distracting to the dogs and the handlers.
